Dr. Lau had been a secondary school teacher for almost 20 years before she joined ABS in 2011. To her, counselors and therapists should not only be dealing with a myriad of preventable problems in the counselling room, but they are to walk into the community to work on effective family education. It is her mission to promote individual and family mental health and prevention work through teaching, research and clinical work as well as the integration of religion, culture and psychology. She also strives to facilitate young people's growth in the love of God, and hence become His faithful servants.
