After graduating with her first degree, Dr Suk Yu Chan worked as a creative copywriter and early childhood educator, collaborating with various organizations in the UK, America, and Japan. Before pursuing full-time pastoral training at Alliance Bible Seminary in Hong Kong, she served as a lay missionary with the Macau mission field of the Hong Kong Alliance Mission. It was during this time that she felt a clear calling from God to dedicate herself fully to ministry. She is deeply grateful for this divine guidance, which has now equipped her with creative skills to teach theology. Her primary research interests include the theology of John Calvin, Reformed Theology, Church History, British Church History, and the British Spiritual Tradition.
