Dr Suk Yu Chan had previously worked as an educator before responding to God’s calling and she assumed the role of a lay missionary with the Macau mission field of Hong Kong Alliance Mission. Subsequently, she proceeded to undertake a full-time pastoral training at Alliance Bible Seminary in Hong Kong. Not long after, she pursued a doctoral programme in the United Kingdom, specializing in the historical exploration of Calvin’s doctrine of divine providence. Following her graduation, she held a position at Christian International Training Centre in Scotland, and as of January 2024, has joined the faculty of Alliance Bible Seminary in Hong Kong. Her primary areas of research encompass theology of John Calvin, Reformed Theology, Church History, British Church History, and the British Spiritual Tradition.
