Master of Christian Faith (in Biblical Studies) (Online Mode)

Program Objective

This program aims to break through the limitations of time and place to provide biblical and theological training in the form of online study to Christians with a Bachelor’s degree who desire to serve, assisting them in learning to study the Bible and building themselves as well as those in their church.

 

Target Students

Lay Christian leaders and Christian organization workers with a Bachelor’s degree.  It is also suitable for remote training of co-workers in Cantonese churches.

 

Program Design

  1. Student must complete 12 courses (36 credits) and other graduation requirements in 4 years’ time.
  2. Some of the courses allow six months to complete.
  3. All courses in the program can be taken online.  Students may also choose to enroll up to six in-person courses provided by the Seminary.

  1. Participate in a retreat camp (3-day 2-night camp) OR complete at least 100 pages of devotional readings
  2. Serving in a church for six months
  3. Reading the New Testament once

Admission Requirements

  1. Applicants must be born-again Christians and are baptized for two years or above.
  2. Demonstrate acceptable levels of spiritual maturity, appropriate giftedness, and ministry involvement in the church.  A recommendation from the affiliated church is needed.
  3. Hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  4. Applicants need to sit for a written examination.  An interview will be arranged if deemed necessary.
