Program Objective
This program aims at equipping Christians who intend to minister through their occupation with up-to-date theological and ministry knowledge, to better prepare them to help build the church in the rapidly changing world. The program also serves to provide a one-year trial of life as an “ABS Cheung Chau campus seminarian” for young Christians who are fresh graduates or considering a full-time, lifelong professional ministry to make clear their calling.
Program Design
- Students need to complete 12 courses (36 credits), and other graduation requirements.
- Studying and living full-time for a year in Cheung Chau campus.

Elective Courses (18 credits)
Students may choose any courses provided in the Cheung Chau campus (with the exception of pastor-exclusive courses). Note that some courses have prerequisites.
Other Graduation Requirements (4 credits)
- Participate in the graduate camp (3-day 2-night camp)
- Serving in a church for six months
- Reading the New Testament once
Admission Requirements
- Applicants must be born-again Christians, have been baptized and members of a local church for at least 2 years at the anticipated time of enrolment.
- Demonstrate acceptable levels of spiritual maturity, appropriate giftedness, and ministry involvement in the church. A recommendation from the affiliated church is needed.
- Hold a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
- Applications need to attend the interview and sit for a written examination.
