Dr. Leung's vocational journey into Christian spirituality and spiritual direction began while she was serving youth and mentors in FESHK and CRCHK. During her time as a pastor, she listened to the spiritual struggles of many Christians, discovering that numerous pastors, elders, and church members felt disconnected from God and unable to experience His love. Despite facing bitterness in their lives, they continued to serve in ministry, which often led to burnout. Dr. Leung has a strong desire to support weary souls on their spiritual journeys. To deepen her understanding, she pursued studies in spiritual direction and directed retreats at Creighton University in the USA, ultimately earning her Doctor of Ministry from Regis College at the University of Toronto. Her focus on Christian spirituality aims to bless others and address contemporary needs within the context of Hong Kong.

Her research interests encompass Ignatian spirituality, the Ignatian Examen, a comparison between Luther and Ignatius, and the understanding and practice of Christian vocation.
